Mercat 1930 is an upmarket gastronomic hub with around 13 food stands, plus 3 bars that serve wine, beer and vermúts. The market is situated inside a former hotel that received an art deco makeover in the 1930s, making it a popular photo spot in Palma de Mallorca.
Besides Mallorcan delicacies, you can enjoy dishes from Thailand, Mexico, Italy, and Japan. There’s also a terrace that remains open until midnight. Mercat 1930 gets busy as soon as it opens at 6.30 pm. Get there early to avoid queues of up to 1 hour. On Fridays and Saturdays, its bars remain open until 1 am so you can combine dinner with a late-night drinking session.
