I am a native Spanish speaker and have traveled widely in Latin America and Spain for decades now; I do not write negative reviews lightly. I'm sorry to have to here.
Internet on the 3rd floor comes and goes (emphasis on goes) and is unreliable. They have advertised wi-fi and yet it's not reliably provided; signal can be weak at best, and you'll waste time waiting for it. Wholly insufficient light in the room to read (there is a whopping one light bulb in the third floor double room, and it’s clouded in the fan light). The windows don’t compensate significantly because of location, size, and reliance on weather – they just need to spend a small amount on more light and it doesn't seem to have occurred to them. Morning cleaning begins at 7:30 loudly on the terrace with full equipment banging on the room doors (no exaggeration), staff there loudly waking you at an unreasonable hour or assuming that the room is vacant despite you having paid and checked in. No telephone in the room. Day one the staff walked in on me lying in bed without knocking on the door - it didn't even occur to her, yet it was only eight AM. Day two when I asked the man sweeping and banging my door with the broom to have some respect he challenged me.
This place is not bad if it were free, but do *not* be fooled by the name. This is a location that has not earned my respect or appreciation. I stand by my review; this was disappointing.
