I have never left a bad review before but feel as though I should since I rely heavily on reviews myself when booking. We had booked a room for a night with a king bed and pull-out sofa. As we pulled the bed out, we noticed brown stains all over the mattress cover, resembled feces. I went downstairs to ask for new bedding as the current one was clearly not clean. The woman working (who was very kind) said she could not leave the desk as she was the only person working in the entire hotel but could give me new bedding and gloves to remove the bedding. So I took both up to our room. As I went to remove the mattress cover, I then noticed there was also hairs, nail clippings, and other debris on it along with the brown stains. We were seriously grossed out and exhausted so I went back down and asked if we could just switch rooms. I was told they were completely sold out but I had the option of booking another hotel. Unfortunately, every hotel in the area was booked also (I booked this particular room months in advance). I spoke with the manager via the front desk person’s cell phone; she was kind but basically there was no choice for us but to stay in our room. My kids ended up piling in my mom’s room, sleeping in a chair as well because no one would sleep on the pull out sofa after seeing what we did. I was told I would be refunded my room charge but that hasn’t happened. Very frustrating stay and would not recommend unfortunately.
