The owner, who was in Mexico at the time and still trying to run things, had missed our payed booking. The staff did therefore not expect us, and acted as though the mistake was on our part.
When we ate in the hotel restaurant the next night, the restaurant host made fun of my wife and I with customers at another table because we don't drink alcohol.
We were told that breakfast was at 8 a.m., but when we came down just after 8 on Sunday morning, several guest were waiting outside the restaurant. No staff could be found. Finally, at 9 a.m. one of the staff opened the place for breakfast. A number of upset guest had already left.
When we checked out, the clerk tried to bill us again for our stay even though it had be prepaid.
