I rarely write negative reviews on Expedia but my experience at this property was quite disappointing. When I checked in, I was informed by the front desk that they don't have a partnership with Expedia which was really shocking! I provided hotle confirmation number, but the front desk kept sayint they are "ctrip exclusive" and wasn't able to find my booking in their system. It took them almost more than 40 mins just to confirm my booking. The hotel building is quite new, but the property only takes a partial of the building (3x floors and above), while the lower levels belong to another hotel.....The room is quite spacious and has a great river view. But there's no gym, no standard hotel amenities. It's like an 3.5 star apart-hotel at most, not really a Howard Johnson standard property. On the plus side, there are many good restaurants nearby, and it's quite easy to get a cab.
