An excerpt of a letter to the owner...
It is with great disappointment that I write to inform you that our stay in unit 3 at Ballantyne Apartments, on Saturday October 13, was very unpleasant.
Considering a cleaning fee of $70 was charged to my credit card before arrival, we were dismayed to find that the apartment was not properly cleaned; the bath towels had not all been laundered; there was a brown stain on the toilet seat that looked like faecal matter; multiple strands of hair were present on the floor of the shower.
The bed was well made, however, the top sheet is old and needs replacing as evidenced by an unsightly hole in the material.
I have attached photos of the above mentioned items.
My partner and I were so upset by the conditions we found that we didn't have a shower. If it wasn't so late when we arrived, I would have refused to stay the night.
Please reconsider your cleaning staff and processes.
