The building itself is very impressive up a long drive, and quite an imposing building. We were travelling from Inverness during the evening rush hour and missed the turn off to the right so be warned!
Ian, our host was at the door to welcome us and was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and grand, with a sumptuous bed, very modern bathroom with shower and a lovely outlook over the extensive garden. Ian told us that the wifi was not good but, in fact, we had good connection. We drove into town for dinner (around 6/7 minutes), parked in the Co-op car park which was central to the town and went to eat in The Class Room, which was one of 4 restaurants recommended by Ian.
Breakfast in the morning was very satisfying, with a selection of juices, cereals, breads, and a full Scottish Breakfast.
All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
