The cabin was ok. Clean. Secluded kinda, there was a cabin right next door but didn’t see the people much. Stairs to get to shared bedroom so don’t being elderly or handicap. Shower was super small, husband is 6ft 230lbs barely fit. Kitchen was not equipped, one pot and it was burnt black on the bottom. No screens in the windows and flys were a huge issue.
Lake front, great view. A bit steep to walk down to the lake from the cabin. They offered kayaks, they had 3, one with a slow leak and my husband had to pull out twice to let the water out of the bottom. If we didn’t have a suv we would have had trouble getting down the drive to the cabin.
There was no one there to check us in, I had to call twice to get the door code and call to let them know we had left. They have a store/ cafe but it was never open all weekend. 1hr to closest Walmart or IGA for food. We made the best of it but probably won’t go back.
