The location is far to get to from the city, however can still be accessed by the 60 bus which take around 1 hour from the central bus interchange.
I stayed in a cabin which was cosy and had it’s own small fridge, kettle and toaster. The room was fresh and clean when I arrived and the small heater kept the room toasty during the night.
The facilities are shared and there were no issues with the shower and toilet facilities, but they are a bit cold so wrap up.
There is an onsite laundry and the reception happily provided change for its use. They have washing powder and other amenities available for purchase. If you would rather get something to cook, the town of Brighton is 15minutes on the bus or 5 minutes drive and has a Woolworths as the main shop with smaller food and drinks outlets nearby. There is a kitchen onsite with plenty of space for multiple people to use at once.
A very nice place with very nice staff
