The infrastructure is brand new and everything is gleaming.
The location is great. It is near two malls and is well served by Uber. Many good restaurants nearby.
There is a coffee shop on the premises and the coffee and breakfast is good.
But...
While there are enough staff in the hotel and all speak good English, and all are polite, they lack training
- Post Checkin, there is an inventory count of every cutlery, pot and pan in the room, before you are allowed to settle down. This took all of 5to 7 minutes.
-, After this person left, we discovered the fridge, the oven and the door bell did not work! Wrong things in the checklist. Any way none of it could be rectified that evening
- The fridge and the oven worked the next morning, there is a master switch that the earlier lady did not know about
- the calling bell never worked. But they refused to give us a second key as 'it was not allowed'
- but the best was yet to come. It was our reservation through Hotels. Com. They did not have a copy, so we gave them ours. They weren't sure if breakfast was included or even if it was double occupancy. Both were clearly written! So we paid for the breakfast the first day and then got a refund on the last day.
- The Manager who comes in once in a while is a bit apathetic. He said he would meet us the next morning and then did not come. Subsequently we are told he does not come in on weekends.
- No startup kit of water, tea, etc. No newspaper. Internet is spotty
