Our stay at the Koulen Hotel was wonderful.
The breakfast buffet was excellent in both variety and quality, and we enjoyed it throughout our five-night stay. The pho was especially delicious, far better than the originals in Vietnam and Bali, which we visited after our stay.
The excellent staff also made our stay even better.
Lin, Sa, and the male staff, whose names I didn't ask, were especially kind and helpful.
Sokha, the hotel's tuk-tuk driver, was a very honest and polite driver, and would come to pick us up within a few minutes if we called during our stay. If you're staying at the Koulen Hotel, be sure to request him.
The only thing I request is kitchen facilities.
There is a nice kitchen in the room, but there are no cutting boards, knives, cutlery, frying pans, tableware, etc., so you will have to request them. I felt it would have been better if they were permanently provided.
