Rooms are paper thin, beds not so comfortable, hot water is hit or miss depending on how many other rooms are rented. Breakfast is sub par, at 136 Canadian in a third / forth world country you’d expect better quality.
I walked the beach for 60-80 bucks Canadian you can get units right on the beach better lay out and better food.
The management was extremely nice, they just do not understand value, the foreign owners are never there, it’s a cash cow to them the locals work there and live in poverty, they have no understanding of western world standards. You will give a better motel room on the highway in Canada for 40 bucks a night.
All the food is heavily sprayed with chemical you can taste it. The air pollution is crazy mostly from China.. have not met any Canadians, mostly German and European travelers, the beach sand is great. Water is clean, I am big on food and room comfort. The rooms I’ve seen that are worth much start at 200-250 usd a night.
Bang for buck go to the thailan.
