We paid €170 per night for a room and were traveling with a toddler under 3 years old. At the entrance of the hotel, there was a small play area with a table, chair, and chalkboard, which seemed perfect for our child — but to our surprise, our son was scolded for using it because, apparently, it was reserved for a dog. This was incredibly disappointing and made us feel very unwelcome as a family.
During breakfast, staff were constantly hovering around us and following our son’s every move, making us feel on edge the entire time. Ironically, there was no high chair available — which would have kept him seated and calm — and no food suitable for children was offered.
The room windows were sealed shut, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. My mother simply asked to borrow the tool to open the window for a few minutes to air the space out, but even that became a problem with the staff.
Lastly, on our departure day, with a flight at 11 p.m., we asked if it was possible to have a room for just 4–5 extra hours. The hotel insisted on charging the full €170 again, which we obviously refused.
Overall, this hotel was not family-friendly, and for the price we paid, the experience was extremely disappointing.
