The people are so friendly! Quaint, clean, inviting spaces. Very historic! I stayed in a room that had not yet been "remodeled", although many rooms have been. However I loved the historic and antique nature of it with the in-room sink. It was very clean and comfortable, but there was some peeling wallpaper/paint on the wall under the window. The AC unit in the window struggled to keep the room cool, but it was almost 99 degrees that day and barely cooled below 75 overnight. I still was able to sleep well with just the sheet. Other than that, the room was spotless with a multitude of personal touches and amenities! WiFi worked well. Took a walk around town and felt safe, little traffic, very quiet. Coffee in the morning was excellent before I hit the road again. Talked with the owner for 10 minutes, and fell in love with the place. I will be back to this quiet, sleepy town when I come this way again!
