A part from being friendly and kind, my room was a disaster. On the wall were falling apart wires of a TV that was taken away; in the bathroom the WC had water only after 8 hours of filling its sink drop by drop (I told the person on duty: oh, thank you for telling me… ok, but I meant to have it repaired!) Only occasionally there was hot water and not all the glasses of the windows would close: the neighbours were speaking a bit loud and smoking in the courtyard and I had noise and smoke smell in the room. On the back there is a small table and a chair, that I guess were taken directly from a rubbish depot.
All this could even pass in a hostel in India, but not if you pay 100 US$ per night.
The motel is in a dark area were you get constantly aggressed by the dogs one block after the excellent restaurant Mum’s.
Don’t go here, and if this is the normal value for money that you get in Tonga, leave the nice tongans to their prayers and go somewhere else
