You don't want to stay in Selina. Hygiene levels all around the hostel and the quality of the rooms are not on the standard.
The staff is friendly and helpful and were willing to help always.
One problem, though, is with the style and atmosphere. You don't know who is actually working and who is just hanging around the premises. It is a bit too relaxed and hippie place, more like a volunteer camp than a hostel, which is a business in the real world.
As a Global operator, while renovating, it should not be an issue to close the sections entirely and not sell rooms from the middle of the works.
According to the renovations, the information was given while making the reservation. The issue was how do you actually conduct the works.
I was planning to stay for a week, but half was enough...
