We recently stayed at this beautiful, well-maintained resort. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The service was top-notch, and booking restaurants was a breeze. With plenty of dining options, dinner was definitely the highlight – the Italian and Akat restaurants were our favorites. However, breakfast options were limited, especially for non-pork eaters. Surprisingly, they offered lobster in the food court but no smoked salmon anywhere.
The heated pools and ample seating were definite pros. On the downside, daytime entertainment was scarce, and you had to head to the main pool for any activities or music. Our pool area was quiet, with no music or entertainment. Unfortunately, the beach was a major letdown – it wasn't the picturesque turquoise we're used to seeing in Cancun or Playa del Carmen.
A few more quirks: WiFi codes were only free for two devices, so we had to purchase additional access for our family of four. And, oddly, there was no dedicated theater for nighttime entertainment – instead, it was held in the garden. This resort has its strengths and weaknesses. With some tweaks, it could truly shine.
