After checking in and spending some time in the rooms we ultimately decided to relocate lodging. One of the rooms was a non-smoking room, but smelled so badly of smoke that we could even spend time inside.
Although the other room was not afflicted by the smell the entire hotel complex did not offer the security we would like to offer a restful night. There were numerous individuals just wondering about the parking lot, offering to wash windshields and lent to an environment that made us question our safety, for both person and property.
I met the owner who was very nice, however this was during check-in prior to walking into the rooms. By the time we had decided to leave the office was closed.
I will be requesting a full refund on this stay.
