This review can only be so long, so:
We arrived at night, but upon opening the door to wavesong i knew we would love it. The roads are kinda crazy, so if you are from US, think twice if you wish to rent a car. I would also recommend bringing plentyof cash. There is rare ATM access... and you may or not be Lucky enough to find it full of cash. Credit card are not widely accepted..our saving grace was being able to exchange money at a local market.
Also can't State enough great things about Sharon, who owns the boathouse rest next door to seascape. She let us build a tab, and was understanding of the situation. Great food and rum punch...drums And dancing.
We recommend walkingto the local waterfall, nice relaxing hike. And taking a boat tour for snorkeling. Roachee is your man if you're lucky enough to find him. Locals are great and will help you with what you desire to do. The view And relaxed atmosphere of seascape were exemplary. I would also add that lavorne is an amazing woman and rolling is wonderful too. After trying to plan a stressful trip back she made it easy.
Ill say this.. if you are looking for a resort or inclusive type vaca, do not come here. If you are wanting to meet and jive w local people, culture and their cuisine, stay here. Be one with the island mind. Just nature and eachother. No ac, no pc, no tv; but stingrays 4 feet across in the heavenly bay. Recharge, grow younger on the island for a bit. Cheers to tobago!
