Accommodation is about 30 minute walk up a mountain side from Puerto Galera. There are no local shops or other facilities nearby. Upon arrival, we were led through an overgrown forecourt to our room. It has no hot water and the water pressure is so week, it is difficult to take a shower. The staff told us that we could extend our stay if we wanted, as there was no booking following ours. They also said, we didn't need to pre-order breakfast from the menu the night before. However, when we tried to order breakfast in the morning, we were told they didn't have any supplies. They couldn't even provide coffee. Prior to the breakfast ordeal, we tried to take up the offer to extend our stay, as most places in Puerto Galera/White Beach were booked that weekend. Our booking extension was accepted, but about 8 hours later, that evening, we were told that the room was already booked and we'd have to move out in the morning. By this time it was too late to look for alternate accommodation, so we had to return home.
