Good sea view, friendly owner/ manager. Decent food.
Bungalows need lot of work and upgrade. Plain cement floor. Doors don't close tight, no curtain on bathroom door so you wake up with the light. No cupboard or even a single hook to hand up your clothes. No kettle (we were able to get one for three bungalows) or tea bags or coffee sachets, or even a bottle or two of drinking water per day (standard even in cheap hotels across Thailand). The first night, I was freezing because the AC was set to 16 degrees, the remote wouldn't work, and there was no blanket or comforter. The bathroom is extremely basic - once again, at this price point, I expect far better. I am living in Thailand for the past 5 years and have travelled all over and stayed in all sorts of hotels, including thrice in Koh Chang, and never been so disappointed.
