We stayed here for the last 3 nights of our holiday for some relaxation after a busy 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. For the most part, this hotel is excellent. It has a fantastic pool - which we virtually had all to ourselves, large, air con rooms, a great breakfast and the place is kept in a very clean condition. However, a couple of things let it down.
Firstly, the dinner buffet is not great. No authentic Sri Lankan food is on offer and the food is not up to a good standard and very pricey. We found some excellent seafood restaurant's a short walk from the hotel.
Secondly, whilst the majority of the staff are very helpful, I felt that some of the staff at dinner needed to go on a customer service course! One especially was verging on rude.
Thirdly, the grouting around the shower tiles, where the wall meets the floor, was looking grubby and needs a good clean.
We had a lovely, relaxing stay here, but the above points do need to be addressed.
