I gave this hotel 3 stars primarily due to a very disappointing check-in experience. After a long drive, I arrived on time but had to wait over an hour to get my room. I was told there was an audit error with the bookings, and it seemed I wasn’t the only one affected—a couple was having the same issue. Deborah assisted me, and while I understand these things happen, I feel she could benefit from additional training in handling situations like this. The issue was eventually resolved after they contacted IT support, but I wish that call had been made sooner to avoid the delay.
Unfortunately, I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience, and I only received an apology after asking for an explanation.
On a positive note, the hotel itself is wonderful. The cleaning and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful, and truly made a difference. I really appreciated their kindness and hard work.
