I stay in Tampa once per month and am always looking for new hotels, better deals, etc. This hotel was nothing like I expected and was EXTREMELY overpriced in my opinion.
* The restaurant and bar were shut down, this was not mentioned on their website when booking and pricing wasn't adjusted.
* The pool was closed due to construction, also not mentioned or reflected in the price.
* The A/C in the room wouldn't go below 68 degrees. (Thank goodness it was cooler outside because we had to sleep with the door to the balcony open)
* The shower was awful, there was limited water pressure and the wall would vibrate every few seconds.
* The breakfast had a good selection of pastries, yogurt, etc. but there were no bacon/sausage/protein options. until the 4th day I was there.
* The fridge in the studio suite was a MINI FRIDGE, I couldn't fit a regular leftover box in there and had to throw away the food I brought back to my room.
* The bed wasn't very comfortable, not horrible, but I expected more for a hotel that charges about $300/night.
What I did like:
* The hotel is in a great area (aside from the traffic, but that's to be expected due to the location)
* The coffee was hot each morning
* The staff was nice
* The desk in the room was a good size and offered plenty of space.
