The location of the hotel was amazing. It was close to shopping and dining and only a few minutes away from downtown Denver but not within the craziness of Denver's parking.
Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in... the elevator the room, the hallways. The hallways are lined with thick carpet which seems to be a sound dampener. We did not use the pool we did not use the restaurant but the food choices seemed really delicious. It was nice to be able to get Starbucks coffee. The needs were really comfortable.
The only issue we had, which reflects more on the guests and the sound reverberation through the ceiling, then it does the hotel. At approximately 1:00 a.m. people in the room above us were stomping, jumping, slamming doors... We travel quite a bit I was trying to wait for everything to come down, maybe they had just gotten into their room. Finally I called the front desk and he said he would go talk to them. I don't know whether he did or not but about 10 minutes later I could hear even louder noises coming from above, which could have been retaliatory from me calling the front desk. It did not simmer down until after 2:00 a.m. and I just think the ceiling was enhancing the sound. We didn't sleep well.
The management got in contact with me right away and I was happy about that. I do hope that the people who were above us find their next hotel stay being in a room directly below a nocturnal Irish step dancing troupe.
