Wonderful local property that feels like a boutique resort. Maria the GM and every single staff member were truly welcoming and consistently sought ways to make our stay better (special mention to Charlene!!). The beach is spotlessly clean, the rooms are of good size and comfortable, the views are amazing, the food is high quality and varied. Be aware as a visitor that this is a dry resort, so come prepared for a detox!
When we visited (during the Covid pandemic) the dive shop was closed. There are paddle boards, kayaks, wind-surf board, bikes, snorkeling gear etc. all available to rent.
We actually were working full days while at the resort (on Philippine time). The hotel internet was fine for the most part, but would definitely recommend buying a local data sim for backup. Between the two we had decent coverage.
Only tip we would have for the owners / management would be to be far more aware of their plastic footprint. There is no need to offer plastic straws with drinks, and drinking water can come from a multi-gallon container rather than small bottled water. It hurts to see those when you know they are going to end up at some point in that beautiful ocean!
