Front desk lady was very unfriendly and not helpful. She claimed we had 2 bookings. Told her we booked only one room, but we received an error after the first booking, so we made another booking for a similar place. Did not realize it was at the same place. Told her we need only one room and she can cancel the second booking. No, she made us making phone calls to Expedia. Only took us 2 hours to get through...
You don't get the exact address in advance to plan your arrival, but only upon arrival. That means as a foreigner I have to buy extra data in Italy to get the exact address. Then the map is not readable and the place is hard to find in the small alleys. When we finally ask in a bar, they knew immediately that we were looking for 'San Marco'. So we are not the only tourists wandering helplessly....
The apartment is large, but the equipment leaves much to be desired. The kitchen table is self-built, wobbely and can not be used to prepare some food ... Bed ends are completely scuffed.... TV in the bedroom does not work... Wifi also not...Water pressure in shower really low..
only plus point: the location is great and everything is within walking distance...
