To start with, we were put into the 2nd floor room 20, no elevator, that had a television wanting to charge me for any program I watched. Despite the efforts of 2 maintenance men, they could not correct it. So, we were shuffled into room 18. Nice room. Nice enough, that we booked extra nights through Hotels.com for which over a week later I am still waiting for credit for my nights stayed.
Next, as we were enjoying dinner at the Boomerang restaurant there was a man who was so drunk he was unable to walk past the pool without assistance. In disbelief we watched him being placed onto a bar stool at the bar.
The next day he was taken out of the hotel by emergency personnel (a heart attack we were told by staff).
We were OK with all that had gone on until we asked to stay more nights in room 18. We were told NO because a SMOKER had asked for a room with an outdoor balcony so he could smoke.
That is GREAT because we discovered PRIME ASIA HOTEL where we had a 2-story room with appliances, and were treated with respect 100% of the time. It has a rooftop pool and connected restaurant.
Disrespect is all I will say about some BOOMERANG lobby staff!!! Never again.
