My mom, aunt and I stayed in this historic cabin a few blocks away from the shopping and restaurants of Fredericksburg. This is a two bedroom cabin perfect for the three of us and we really enjoyed our visit and the ambiance of the historic home, but there was a few things that might affect your booking if you are traveling with any elderly or handicapped guests as we were- the sidewalk leading up to the house is uneven rough cut stones which were tricky for one of us to walk on, there was no shower, but it had a huge very deep jetted tub with a shower nozzle attachment which was difficult to get in and out of, lastly the cabin has wood floors with pretty rugs that were slick enough to be tripped on by anyone unsteady on their feet. Also the living area is a small love seat and small tv area that is combined with the kitchen area at the back of the cabin so it is not going to accommodate sitting in the living room chatting or watching movies, but hopefully you will spend most of your time out on the front patio or back courtyard sipping wine. Overall this was a great location just a little bit of a challenge for us.
