It was a roomy, one-bedroom apartment in good condition and with all the amenities you would need for a quick trip (stove, sink, fridge, microwave, bbq grill).
Nonetheless, be aware that I had some serious issues with my check-in. The staff claimed my reservation had been cancelled due to issues with my credit card, despute the fact that I had been charged upon reserving. They also claimed to have called me but couldn’t locate me, but I never received such a call.
The apartment I got was not the one I was suposed to stay in, and it was available only due to issues with the main door (the lock apparently jams occasionally). The hotel was fully booked due to a big cycling event that started/finished in the hotel grounds that weekend (in which I actually took part) and I was expressly told that if the door didn’t open they could not offer any other solution for me.
That was very infuriating and although my stay ended up being quite positive and I am satisfied with the apartment itself, I would think twice before booking with Playa Blanca Vacations again, as I was faced with the choice of calling friends to see if I could crash in their room or otherwise spend the night before the bike race sleeping in my car, despite having already paid for a night at an apartment.
