Having booked 5 nights on our trip already, I left the remaining nights blank to offer some flexibility. On deciding to stay in Trier, I looked for something central, within my price range and offering parking. This hotel turned out to be the ideal choice and caused me to extend our stay for an extra night. I liked the way I was phoned en route to check on my arrival time and to give me parking instructions. It was a personal touch. The place is a bit unusual in its layout, larger than it at first seems and parking is adequate and a real boon. The room was one of the largest on our trip, very well appointed with white bedding and towels, as you would expect. The price for the buffet-style breakfast was very reasonable and the food was typical German style offering both quantity and quality.
