The villas are spacious, and have good layouts - their bedrooms, bathroom, living area, and terrace. The washing machine in the unit is a plus.
The villa that was given to us smelled moldy. While the pillowcases looked clean, the pillows themselves were heavily stained and smelled really bad; so did some towels.
The kitchen appliances, especially the fridge and glasswares, weren't cleaned well too.
The property does not offer free wifi anymore. "Anymore" because there was a router in our villa; but we were told we had to buy a local sim card if we wanted internet.
Staff Aline who serves as the key contact person for the villa needs to be more helpful, and pay more attention to the details of the bookings. We started on the wrong foot. When we arrived at the property, there were no welcome greetings; instead, her first words to us were "You did not arrive yesterday. I waited for you!" Only to find out that she mistook us for other guests, and reprimanded us for it.
When we wanted to extend our stay for two more nights, Aline blocked the property on Hotels.com right away; thus we had no choice but to do it directly through her. Her excuse was that she didn't want other people to book our villa. Not true. In fact, many villas were empty.
Aline was proactive when she needed something from us (e.g. payment collection); but oftentimes unavailable when we needed help (e.g. questions on taxi rates). Her fave line is "I will check on that; and get back to you." She never did
