The hotel's strong point is its location, straight across from the excellent night food market, city Museum, shrine and a 7-Eleven. The tourist office is a 5 minute walk away.
The rooms were clean enough and overall I enjoyed my stay, largely because of the view from my balcony and the location.
Sadly though, the hotel is in a state of decay with both of the rooms that I looked at needing general maintenance.
Windows didn't close properly, lights didn't work, balcony door had no working lock.
The bed was certainly firm, the TV was very old (local free to air stations only) but the refigerator and furniture were functional and wifi was quite good.
I'd be tempted to stay again, now that I know what to expect - but - be prepared for old and quirky.
