Pros: It’s a beautiful property, the room, porch, and view we’re lovely. Cons and things to note-The beach is hard to get to, and is not swimmable, the pool is 6 feet deep end to end with only a metal ladder for access - definitely not kid or elderly friendly. The food was good but inconsistent - the same dish was ordered by two people at our table and the proportions were drastically different. The service is seriously lacking. It started at check-in. I had originally booked three nights in a chalet, when we decided to stay a fourth night there was only one room available on this site so I booked it. Upon arrival I was told that I would be charged for the upgrade to a chalet for the 4th night. I hadn’t even asked yet! Really guys? The price difference was negligible And wasn’t the issue, but more about guest experience - Welcome, we’re charging you extra for something you haven’t even asked for. The next thing I was told is that there was no bartender working that day, so beer was the only possible choice. We had just traveled five hours from El Nido to get there, this was certainly not the greeting or level of service (especially in the restaurant) we were expecting from a four-star hotel.
