Our stay at the Lodge (motel) was just ok'ish. It wasn't great, there was nothing worth remembering. The property is very dated, the rooms and bathroom are very dated. The beds are hard, the linens were decent. There was a stick being used to keep the sliding door to the patio locked, not very comforting. The front door looked like it was kicked in at some point. The bathroom was not the cleanest and missing paint, holes in the wall etc. The towels were decent. The outside was pleasant minus all of the disarray from them cleaning up from the summer. Big pile of this summers potted plants, tree limbs, and clippings. The entire area had a dead deer smell to it and screen doors removed from the property and stacked up against the outside wall. When we first walked into the room the temperature was set at its highest setting, this was a cause for concern because this is a tactic to get rid of bed bugs. Thankfully, didn't find any bed bugs. To sum it all up, the only thing my wife had to say was "its just ok, we have stayed in worse". The price was high for this stay, certainly wasn't worth it and the additional $25 dollars per pet when we checked wasn't a nice surprise. We will not stay at this property again.
