This is a special place, not for you if you like the mountain as a place for an aperitif and shopping. or if you don't go by car. It is well off the beaten track, up a twisting mountain road. If you are OK with that, you will find fantastic views, starry nights, walks with no one else just outside the front door, a speck house (local traditional smoked ham) and smell of fields and hay.
The ladies managing the guest house are really nice and welcoming and prepare a most wonderful breakfast: home made bread and cakes, fresh jams, etc.
The accommodation is simple but really spacious (we stayed in the apartments next door), with very comfortable beds and soft duvets.
The hotel in nearby Onies (2km away) is the nearest restaurant, but it is not a long drive to St Lorenzo or San Vigilio.
