The bed in the ada room was very low, 14”. Should be raised to the standard 22”. The bed had a rug around the perimeter which does not work with any wheels. Should be removed. Front desk staff were sympathetic to the issue of the bed being the wrong height, and ultimately not working for my ability they also had a our hands are tied attitude, and we’re unable to make it right in the end. One of the staff used a number of towels, prop up the mattress, just enough to allow me to use it, but as a result, I only, used it once and was ain’t unable to have a shower. Otherwise I may have been stuck in bed with no clothes on and needing to ask staff to help me is not the standard for an ADA room too bad because it had a beautiful bathroom.
