I spent 4 nights at this place to visit a business partner. My overall impression is this hotel has prices inline with the area, but offers a very basic service, with many features inferior to what it advertises.
The most negative aspects were the size of the room, soundproofing and wireless service.
Regarding the room size, it is negatively impacted by an inefficient design: while the dimension of the floor space may correspond to what they claim, it is wasted in a long 3m corridor, which makes the actual room space tiny and just sufficient for the bed and a desk with a one column wardrobe. Under the desk there is a mini-fridge (which I had to move to the bathroom in order to be able to sit).
The only place to open the suitcase is the bed, which creates an easy condition for spreading bedbugs.
There’s also not a lot of space for the belongings (not even a hanger in the corridor) and I had to place the suitcase above the wardrobe column and the trolley under the desk, just to be able to walk in the room.
Soundproofing is not existing. This is a decades old building and there is no sign of soundproofing on the walls or ceiling or plumbing: in fact I was waken up by the noise of the suitcases rolling upstairs and I could hear everything happening in the bathroom upstairs.
Wireless was a joke. Despite I got a good signal, when I had an online meeting in the evening I wasn’t able to share any content, and barely able to be heard.
No manager on duty to speak with…
