This is a good bohemian auberge as in "live and let live". Don't expect anything and you'll be happy. If you don't like the bohemian lifestyle, avoid. If you're looking for a quaint little auberge : avoid. This is not it. This auberge is located on a nice piece of land by a lake. But everything else is average. Bed had clean sheets, and the mattress was comfy. Some parts of the room where updated (new lights). Many parts were not (peeling wallpaper everywhere, massive spider web, black stains on the bottom 2 feet of the bathroom ceramic grout...). Standard room has a "connecting" door to the next room. It's just a regular door with a lock. You can hear everything next door. Feels like you rented a room in someone private house. Seemed seriously overpriced to us. The room itself is worth half what we paid. I guess the rest of the price is for the "lake premium". Lake and pool are indeed nice, but most of the outdoor furniture is dilapidated (with serious rips and material dangling from being too stretched; and that's before all the bird poo). Anyways, although we sometimes like casual, this was too casual for us. We will not go back.
