Hotel with no respect for clients
I simply did not stay there! I reserved and paid for my stay 4 months earlier, but the hotel canceled my reservation without informing me or even hoteis.com. Unfortunately, I found that out on the day of the check-in! I called the hotel and they told me the reservation was cancelled because there was a fair in Bologna and so the prices were 4 times the price I had paid. Obviously, when they realized that, they simply cancelled my reservation and opened the room to someone who would pay much more. I wasn´t informed, neither was hoteis.com, whose system informed my reservation was confirmed.
This situation shows the hotel has no respect for the clients and partners. I was in the middle of my trip with no hotel for those 2 nights and no computers available.
Fortunately, I accessed hoteis.com with my cell phone and I reserved another hotel for that night. I called hoteis.com and they are going to reimburse the amount I paid.
And Villa Ida Suites in all this story? Well, I am sure they had clients who paid the value they wanted, so they are very satisfied with their profit.
