DO NOT BOOK. Terrible service, insect carcasses and live insect in bed. The motel says they inspected and everything is up to their standards. You tell me if this meets YOUR standards.
I've stayed at 75+ hotels and this is the worst experience I've ever had. I arrrived to check-in at 11:30 pm after booking the room on Hotels.com several days in advance.
It took ten minutes of hitting the buzzer and calling to get the desk manager. The guy was very old and appeared to me to be half drunk. He told me "I can't help you! We have no rooms." I asked if he gave my pre-booked room away and he repeated "no rooms!". I was getting nowhere, so I left.
Twenty minutes later (as I'm looking for a replacement hotel in the middle of the night) he calls me and tells me he DOES have the room. I returned, which was a mistake.
I checked in and went to the room. It was in poor condition. As soon as I pulled back the sheets, I found an insect carcass in the bed, a small live insect that looked like a bed bug nymph, and the edges of the pillow cases are covered in insect legs and debris.
I took photos of the insect carcasses and checked out immediately. The live one disappeared before I could get a photo of it. Motel denies any wrongdoing and refuses refund. According to them, they found nothing and this is acceptable service.
