With just one small exception, I loved my stay at this hotel. I had several interactions with the reception staff: very friendly and helpful every time. The building is nicely laid out around a courtyard, and is on three floors (I did not notice an elevator). There is an inhouse spa, but I did not take advantage of that facility. The included breakfast was very good, extending to cooked items such as an omelette, served in a well-appointed dining room (I seriously wanted to steal a glass!).
The room itself was totally warm (I was there mid-winter) and very comfortable, nicely decorated with a great bed, useful desk and a stocked minibar. Wifi worked flawlessly. There were a couple of English language TV news channels. The hotel is very close to Borjomi Park but there is very little shopping in Borjomi at all, let alone near the hotel (except for souvenirs, honey and the like). I was there to take the cuckoo train, which leaves from the Borjomi freight station, a 2 or 3 km walk up the river.
The only point of discomfort was the security guard: he did not seem to take too kindly to me, and was very watchful of me without ever saying a word.
