My room key never worked more than once. I would have to go to the front desk to get a new one daily. When I would go to the front desk, they would give me all kinds of advice on how to fix the problem, which at first was helpful but then it got annoying by the 3rd and 4th days. My advice to you is to fi the problem! It is beyond inconvenient to go back and forth to the front desk for a key and in the world's slowest elevator.
Our first room did not have a flushing toilet. I asked for someone to come and fix it. The room man was sweating trying to plunge it for at least 45 minutes. We finally left him alone in the room. I had to ask twice or a different room with a working toilet.
Everything was hard... A hotel stay should be easy, convenient, make you feel at home, etc. This was not my experience.
The hotel has rust on metal, floors in the breezeways were leaning/slanting, chunks of wood coming off the trim, wallpaper bubbling up.
When a person is paying over $1800 for 4 nights, everything should work, be clean, flush, and room keys need to work. I will never stay here again,
Positives- super close to the beach and a great location, staff was friendly.
