I wanted to bring to your attention as spending nearly $600 dollars on accommodation I was expecting a bit more than what we received, when arriving to check in no run down was provided about the amenities instead the receptionist just provided myself with a piece of paper with limited details and my room key and went back to their phone call, I would’ve liked to have received more information about the dining details and that room service is provided however, it had to be done at reception which defeats the purpose in my opinion. The room was not clean and stunk of mildew, the glass on the balcony was filthy, the bathroom had visible water damage the bathroom door could not be shut and the shower had residue and mould all over it and was not cleaned properly, It was also to my understanding the room would be cleaned each day and it wasn’t, I can see the only one day someone had entered our room and only changed the towels and we did have a dirty bowl sitting on the bench I could see it had been accidentally dropped but put back and the remaining sauce that was in the bowl was spilt on the floor and left there the whole day until we returned that evening. I also found it concerning that all the dirty and ‘clean linen and towels’ were sitting out in the open air in the car park exposed to the elements for days and The tv remote needs replacing as it barely worked.
