The recptionist had difficulty finding my booking which I had maade on the morning of the day I arrived. I was 'upgraded' to Room 1 on the ground floor which had a king size bed and a single crammed into the window space which prevented the bathroom door from opening fully. I had to ask for towels as there were non in the bathroom although I was told they should be in the cupboard. The room decor was a dingy brown colour with a brown carpet. It could do with an update! On a plus the bed was clean as was the bathroom. Tea and coffee were available in the room. There was an electric diffuser plugged into the wall which I switched off immediately as I don't like smells. It was impossible to lower the sound on the TV control.
