The hotel never got my request for a handicap room, and were solc out when I arrived. The blamed Hotels.com for not forwarding the special request. I think it was the hotel's problem, but I should have followed up with a call.The staff was great. The found a plastic pool chair to put in the shower so I could sit. Not perfect, but it allowed me to not have to change hotels. The hotel has had some interior upgrades, but is due for more, especially in the bathroom. Chipped paint, dripping shower head, and door to the toilet that wouldn't close completely are examples.
