Weekend trip to Niagara falls. This is a 2 star hotel on the river. Upon arrival, there was construction on the property. We were not allowed to park in the parking lot. Everyone had to park in a grassy area (which hadn't been cut) and walk quite a bit with all luggage in hand to our room. Parking remained this way the entire stay. Room is extremely out dated. Nothing fancy. Had a bad, old, dingy smell when we walked in. I turned AC on and sprayed lysol and smell went away. RR needs work. Tub, sink ragged/rough. Whole room was clean enough. OUTDOOR amenities are cute and relaxing. Short walk thru grass to Niagara river. Many sitting areas a bonfire area, & gazebo. Swimming pool is in the front of property. The owner was very friendly and helpful while explaining the falls, where to go, what to do, & how to do. During check out , cleaning staff was also friendly. This is a decent, close location to stay on a Niagara falls weekend.
