Here’s a more polished version:
Pros:
• Conveniently located near a subway station, shopping, and dining options.
• Features a small kitchenette, which can be useful for extended stays (though it lacks basic items like bowls and utensils).
Cons:
• Ongoing construction is incredibly loud, making sleep nearly impossible. With the AC turned off for the cooler months, the only option is to open the windows—letting in all the noise. Our room was directly across from the site, and the work often started as early as 4-5 a.m., continuing until 8-10 p.m. One night, there was roadwork (including jackhammering) until 1 a.m.—no exaggeration.
• The front desk staff was uncooperative, making us go through hotels.com just to change rooms. When we finally moved to the other side of the building, we were instead subjected to noise from loud, intoxicated people late into the night (especially on weekends, though weekdays were somewhat quieter).
• Although there is a washer on-site, there is no dryer, so you’ll need to visit a coin laundry about 10 minutes away.
• One front desk staff member was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, seemingly intent on refusing any requests to make her job easier. However, the other staff members were pleasant.
Conclusion: Avoid staying here.
