I booked on Expedia for a 1 night stay. I got there about 9 pm only to be told my booking was 'unconfirmed' and there was no accommodation. While waiting at the reception, I tried to use the toilet and found it was overflowing and could not flush properly.
After about 30 minutes, I was given a room with no functional air-conditioner. Had to leave the facility after calling the reception 2 times to fix the air-conditioner without any action from the hotel.
All in all, it was a terrible experience with the manager trying to make it look like it was my fault for making an 'unconfirmed reservation' even though I had been debited by Expedia and informed that I did not need to reconfirm booking.
I was neither re-reimbursed by Expedia or hotel but I left the facility without sleeping there to keep my sanity!
