I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I believe its 4-star rating on Hotels.com should be reconsidered. Here's why:
Location & Surroundings
The hotel is tucked away in a back alley off a bustling street known for its "adult nightlife." There's an additional building across the road, which adds to the disjointed feel of the property.
Check-In Experience:
The check-in process was smooth, and the 1,000 baht cash deposit is pretty standard for the area. I appreciated that they honored my One Key VIP Platinum upgrade, and the front desk service was generally good.
Room Experience
Unfortunately, my room was located right next to the elevator, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the incredibly thin walls—you can hear everything. The room had a strange, unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore. Additionally, the TV didn’t work, though I chose not to report it. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. However, the balcony was of little use, given that the view was nothing more than an alley.
The bathroom was another disappointment; the shower head was rusty, which didn’t instill confidence in the overall cleanliness.
Breakfast
The breakfast offered was small but adequate—a decent selection for a quick bite in the morning.
Final Thoughts
For a quick one-night stay, especially given the price, this hotel is passable. However, I would only recommend it for solo male travelers. It’s not suitable for family or those wanting upscale experience.
